ROX Volleyball

Website Design & Build/Brand Expression

CHAPTER 1

forward

« BACK TO PORTFOLIO

The idea behind the Rox brand was to transcend the world of volleyball apparel by fusing performance and function with trendy and fashionable style.

A team of current and former volleyball players created the brand itself. Players that believe in the idea of a uniform being perfectly functional yet stylish enough to keep up with the ever changing fashion trends.

Rox found Greenhouse because they needed to get their product out there but had a broken website, literally broken.  They needed edge and glam, yet to communicate form and performance of a great product.

CHAPTER 2

the solution

Razzle Dazzle. Greenhouse was totally inspired and jazzed about helping ROX.  We have a client that wanted edge, sexy, slick, hip and super functional—just like their products. We were given great photography, a very hip client, and the creative freedom to finally get ROX the website they needed to get their apparel out to market. They needed a website that would not only allow them to build their brand and an interactive community around their culture, but also needed a full e-commerce module.  So we built the site on a blogging platform and integrated Foxy cart.  It’s the Greenhouse (well Mark & Greg) way to add some of our own customized code, and now the site allows customers to order individual product/apparel or buy for their whole team.  Show us your Rox!

Rox meets Foxy

“Oh my goodness that's got to be one of the best cart implementations I've ever seen on any cart.” - Foxy Cart, the creators of the payment processing system we're using for Rox

Blue Crush

We actually had some really innovative code go into our shopping cart integrations, it was a lot of trial and error, but didn't mind because these volleyball girls are super cute in blue.

Bringin' Sexy Back

Being a former athlete myself, these gals have lots figured out. They are truly mixing fashion with function and it's been a blast to help them promote their edgy and athletic culture.
