Environs

CHAPTER 1

« BACK TO PORTFOLIO

Environs, formerly Creative Environs, they specialize in turning visionary ideas into unique experience environments.

Their unique team has the perfect blend of creative talent, advanced fabrication capabilities, technical know-how and of course experience. From concept through completion, there’s virtually nothing they can’t build and to them, they are not satisfied until they hear that roaring WOW from their clients. That’s the Environs way.

CHAPTER 2

the solution

Greenhouse wanted to help Environs make a smooth transition through the rename and position them front and center for more “WOW” opportunities.  When we initially engaged, their brand was slightly misguided and their message was “everything to everyone.”  We wanted to help them visually and contextually better say, “we can build anything.”

Instead of trying to come up with some deep brand architecture, site structure and messaging platform to show potential customers that “We build anything”, we thought it was better to just say “Hey, we build anything… really”, and let the work speak for itself. That being said, we still felt it was important to give website visitors who knew exactly what they were looking for the ability to browse by industry, capability, or service through the tagging system and real-time AJAX filtering.

Navigation for Anything?

I loved the challenge of organizing a portfolio of projects for a company that literally can create anything.

Tag, you're it.

There was a unique challenge to having some much depth and imagery on a site and coding it up so it's still really fast to load and has room to grow. The tagging system was awesome once we got it all figured out.

Sketching their brand.

We found a unique way to integrate sketches as a brand element throughout the leadership photos, projects profiles and the website. It was our way of helping them express, "hey world we're super experienced and polished, but also super creative and innovative."
